Error after installing Project Server

We have SQL Server 2000 running on Windows 2000 Server Advanced. We
recently attempted to install MS Project Server and it "broke" our
current SQL Server. We now have this error and cannnot run our SQL
Server-based application:
Your SQL Server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered
with... Please uninstall then re-install to correct this problem"
What is the best recourse to fix this?
ThanksHi

That may depend on how critical the server is and how much use it gets! If
you have copied your database files or have up-to-date backups then I would
remove and re-install. Alternatively you could try to just reinstall the
registry settings which is available on the advanced options of the
Installation Selection dialog when you run the setup program.
